Thomas Benard
Agronomy engineer and oenologist, Thomas began his career in the Rhône Valley at LACO in Suze-la-Rousse. He joined the Aix Oenology team in 2008, where he expanded its services to include agronomic and oenological consulting as well as vineyard management. Since 2018, Thomas has led the Aix Oenology team, providing guidance and expertise to estates, wine cooperatives, and wine merchants across Provence and the Mediterranean region.
Christophe Chouvet
Growing up on a family farm and with a background in agronomy, Christophe has developed expertise in agricultural supply and technical management of vineyards. Passionate about environmental sustainability and innovative technologies like drone and satellite imaging, he advises the estate on optimizing practices while promoting organic farming. Christophe focuses on water management, soil studies, and vineyard restructuring and promotes biodiversity, living soils, and gentle pruning techniques.
Louis-Marie Cortès
After earning a BTS in Viticulture and Oenology, Louis-Marie honed his skills at renowned wineries in Pessac-Léognan, Bandol, and South Africa, gaining experience in vineyard management and advanced vinification techniques. Now serving as Cellar Master at Domaine Travelle, he channels his passion and expertise into crafting exceptional wines, ensuring each bottle reflects his dedication to quality and the unique character of the terroir.
Caitlin King
Hailing from New Zealand, Caitlin made the move to France in 2014 to pursue her passion for oenology. After gaining valuable experience working in several wineries across southern France, she found her home in Provence in 2021 specializing in oenological consulting. At Domaine Travelle, Caitlin collaborates closely with the winemaking team, expertly guiding the wines through every stage of production—from harvest and vinification to aging—ensuring exceptional quality at every step.
Amy & Pierre Villeneuve
Amy and Pierre’s journey from the tech world to winemaking reflects their unique passion for science and art. After over two decades in Boston’s high-tech startup scene, the husband-and-wife duo purchased Domaine Travelle to pursue their passion for wine. Today, they split their time between France, the U.S., and Canada, bringing a global perspective to Domaine Travelle. Their story is one of innovation, dedication, and a deep respect for the art of winemaking.
